Clare‘s work captures the subjective experience of being through relationships of colour and shape. She traces thoughts, memories and feelings to create abstract landscapes - with the unexpectedness of encounters with nature. She finds freedom by working in series within a limited framework, often involving processes of destruction and fragmentation, followed by careful fixing and healing
