Juliette’s work probes the notion of 'The Clearing' - where wilderness and chaos oppose civilization and order and where we feel at once safe and yet intensely vulnerable: her paintings combine rustic, urban and gothic imagery and result in provoking feelings as diverse as familiarity and threat, compulsion and alienation.
